LMIA approved. This employer is approved to hire a foreign worker into this role, which is what lets a work permit be issued for it. It does not by itself make you eligible.

About this role

Swift Current Agronomy Services is an agricultural input supplier serving growers around Barraute. We sell seed, fertilizer and crop protection products, and we need a stock clerk to keep the warehouse and counter organized through the season.

The day is spent receiving shipments, checking counts against packing slips, putting product away and pulling orders for customers and field staff. You will also help with inventory counts, keep the shelves labelled and clean, and load smaller orders by hand or with a pallet jack.

What you'll be doing

  • Receiving. Unload incoming deliveries, check quantities against packing slips and report shortages or damage.
  • Put-away. Store seed, fertilizer and crop protection product in the correct bays and keep lot numbers recorded.
  • Order picking. Pull customer and field orders accurately and stage them for pickup or delivery.
  • Inventory. Take part in regular cycle counts and keep shelf labels and bin locations current.

What they're asking for

  • Certification. No trade ticket is needed; training on handling and storage is provided on site.
  • Experience. None required; this is an entry-level role and we will train the right person.
  • Physical fitness. Able to lift 25 kg repeatedly and work on your feet through a full shift.
  • Language. Working English is needed for safety instructions and shipping paperwork.

What the employer offers

  • Seasonal bonus. A completion bonus is paid at the end of the busy spring season.
  • Gear. Steel-toed boots and gloves are supplied, along with any required safety equipment.
  • Overtime. Hours beyond 40 each week are paid at time and a half.
