LMIA approved. This employer is approved to hire a foreign worker into this role, which is what lets a work permit be issued for it. It does not by itself make you eligible.

About this role

Fredericton Arbor Services is a small tree-care company working on residential and municipal contracts around Beaupré and the surrounding communities. We are adding an administrative assistant to keep the office running while crews are out on site.

The day is spent answering calls and emails, booking work into the schedule, preparing quotes and invoices, and keeping client and job files up to date. You will also order office supplies, sort mail, and help the owner with paperwork for permits and insurance.

What you'll be doing

  • Client contact. Answer phone calls and emails, book appointments, and pass urgent requests to the crews.
  • Scheduling. Keep the daily and weekly job calendar current and confirm appointments with clients.
  • Paperwork. Prepare quotes, invoices, and work orders, and file job records and receipts.
  • Office support. Order supplies, sort mail, and keep the front desk and files organized.

What they're asking for

  • Education. Secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience. None required; we will train the right person.
  • Computer skills. Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and basic word processing.
  • Language. Spoken and written French and functional English for client and supplier contact.

What the employer offers

  • Training. Paid onboarding on our booking and invoicing systems.
  • Gear. Office equipment and supplies provided.
  • Leave. Two weeks of paid vacation per year, accrued from the start date.
